We have a rural property with magnificient views, pool and are close to Nauiyu supermarket, Daly River Pub, school close by & 4.5klm from Daly River (Barramundi Country).
If you are seeking peace & quiet this is the place.
We offer a free site to suitable self contained travellers. In return a hand when requested would be appreciated ie to feed the chooks, water plants, etc.
We are planning trips away but require help before we book.
It is not necessary to live in our house as we would will be here at various times. Often visit Darwin 2.5 hours away, monthly & overnight, we need to "escape" for trips too.
We have mains power & hi & dry on a hill.
If you are passing "Eagles View" Woolianna Road please call in to meet us or phone first just to be sure we're home.
We have an 8 yo Jack Russel who will happily greet you
The dates are flexible, ideally it would suit long term retirees who enjoy a rural remote lifestyle & fishing/boating as a bonus.

Cania Gorge National Park is just 20 min from my place.
Cania Gorge is a very popular spot for fishing and bushwalking and many tourists visit all throughout the year.
I have two fairly spoilt dogs, a 7 yr old Dalmation and an 8 month old German Coolie but both are very well mannered and have plenty of room to run.
I have two Manx cats who eat inside but are very shy especially with strangers.
I have 10 chooks who are also pets, but lay enough eggs to keep the fridge full.
I have 4 cows who basically look after themselves.
I have a very big and lovely garden which will require watering while I'm away.
As I am in the process of doing up the slab hut residence, anyone with a caravan or motor home with their own hot water system would be ideal.
There are rain water tanks but the gardens and hoses are on dam water.
I live on 200 acres, there is plenty of room or you can easily park under cover in the shed.
I used to park my bus motorhome in one of the sheds.
This is a very nice area.

We are looking for a house sitter to mind our twenty acre farm just to the west of Townsville. We have dogs, horses, cats and poultry to be looked after, along with small jobs such as collecting mail from town and mowing if necessary etc.
We need someone for a minimum of one month, but it is very likely to be ongoing. We would like someone ongoing on an open ended agreement if that suited. We are very flexible, but a month would be the minimum at this stage.
We both work away, but do come home on occasion, so you would have the chance to have a few days away if you like.
Although we have strong preference for a mature aged single female, we are happy to talk to anyone who takes time to write.
Sadly we have had dishonest sitters in the past, so we are being careful who we choose, although we need someone fairly soon. Appreciate your contact asap if interested, and happy to give more info at any time.

The horses are cared for by our daughter, who teaches riding on the property. The other animals need feeding and watering daily. Our house is smallish, modest, 70s style with a lovely new kitchen.
